This European style boutique hotel was founded in 1787 by an English Quaker named William Fell. The Admiral Fell Inn comprises eight adjoining buildings that originally served as boarding houses for sailors. The lobby features a sitting area with a fireplace and antique furnishings, and adjoins The Petticoat Tea Room. The Admirals Lounge serves light fare, includes a full bar and serves buffet style breakfasts for a fee. The Mediterranean style Meli Patisserie & Bistro features a pastry shop, houses a bar and offers an intimate lower level lounge.
